The goal of zero-waste is at the heart of my practice. I aim to minimise wastage by weaving together fine strips of leather, making use of the entire hide. My practice originated from a desire for zero waste, whereby weaving and stitching together even the smallest slivers of leather meant that I could use up the offcuts from pattern-cutting that were deemed too small to be useful.
